HOW IT WORKS

To pump, simply make an X!

Step 1

Pull the outer layer of fabric down and the inner layer up.

Step 2

Position the flange between both layers, over the nipple.

Step 3

Repeat the first step, in reverse order, on the opposite side. Position the flange in the same manner.

Step 4

Ensure that no fabric is trapped between your skin and the flange. You’re ready to go!

Best if you want to use a flange-based pump and don’t need much support

I really like the feel of this bra and am a 34B pre-pregnancy who often went bra-less so the minimalist vibe is perfect. I’ve worn it as a top under a cardigan or open jacket if you don’t mind that the contour of your nipple may be occasionally visible. Works great with the Medela pump in style.

While the website says you can use the wearable pumps, I found that I can’t wear my Elvie in the bra as it will start sliding down and creating uncomfortable traction on my nipple. Just not enough support in the bra itself. Unfortunately by the time I had found that out I’d ordered 3 additional bras and will be returning just because the point was to find a bra I could wear all day comfortably. I will still use this at night when I use a flange-based pump. As the Willow pump is heavier than the Elvie I don’t think this would work well with that portable style either.

Buy 2! Best nursing bra around!

Im one week postpartum, and I already had to order a second Larken X because I am living in this bra!! It is so soft and comfortable, but the best part is that it holds my Hakka (milk collection cup) perfectly in place while I’m nursing my baby. Go ahead and buy 2 - one to wash and one to wear - you won’t regret it!

Different color different for.

The nude bra fits differently than the black. Black was super comfortable, the nude felt tight in underarm area and rubbed at the seam there. The black is comfy. Doesn’t support large breast well, so it does make the angle for pumping less than ideal. But it works and is great for sleeping and easy nursing!
