About Our Larken X Fabric

When we set out to design the Larken X, we weren’t just looking for something soft. We needed something smarter. We removed the usual stuff. No clips. No wires. No tight bands. That meant the fabric had to do everything. Support, stretch, recover—and repeat.

After testing hundreds of fabrics over the years, we use the current polyester spandex blend for a number of reasons, including its buttery soft feel, ability to be conveniently put in the washer and dryer, and most importantly, its stretch and recovery, which is crucial to the design and functionality. Even better? It’s OEKO-TEX certified to ensure that the fabric has been rigorously tested against a list of up to 300 toxic chemicals, and its silky smooth finish is moisture wicking and won’t stick to your sensitive skin so you can stay cool and dry day and night.

Tested in real life—not just on paper. From cluster feeds to 2 a.m. pumps, from crib naps to commute days. We wore it, washed it, lived in it. Because we know you will, too.

HOW IT WORKS

To pump, simply make an X!

Step 1

Pull the outer layer of fabric down and the inner layer up.

Step 2

Position the flange between both layers, over the nipple.

Step 3

Repeat the first step, in reverse order, on the opposite side. Position the flange in the same manner.

Step 4

Ensure that no fabric is trapped between your skin and the flange. You’re ready to go!

Tall Girl Review

I'm 6 feet tall and am always hesitant to buy something without adjustable straps. Unfortunately this bra did not work. It rides too high and is uncomfortable in my armpits. It seems like it would be so comfortable otherwise.

I fell for an Instagram ad for these bras after seeing One With The Pump rave about them. It has been 2 weeks of using them now and I an really unhappy with the quality of the materials & would not purchase again. Plenty of my other nursing bras are polyester spandex blends, but this is the ONLY one that makes me sweat through my bed sheets in between night time nursing sessions. The feel of the bra is so plasticky and my skin absolutely hates it. Wish I had not taken off the tags already, now I’m stuck with them.

Best pumping bra

This is the best pumping bra I've tried. The design of it ensures that the flanges of my pump aren't loose and it's stretchy enough to also breastfeed in easily. It's also just very comfortable. I now have two colors and might buy more! I'm 5 weeks postpartum and living in these. Highly recommend.

Was skeptical but I love it!
